Wow! It's been close to a year since my last journal entry, guess I better update this thing.

Sorry for being more absent than usual these past several months! I was in my second and final year at college, swamped with work to do and crazy deadlines and overtime galore. However, I'm finally finished all my classes, and as of tomorrow I'll be starting a five-week internship at an agency, which is more or less like a 9-to-5 job without the pay. So I'll still be busy, but at least there won't be as many additional hours to put in. I hope!

Word about my design and illustration skills has been spreading since our graduating-class gallery exhibition, and I've received several interesting offers that would be really promising if they pan out! I'm quite excited and I can't wait to be making money again. My boyfriend's been supporting me since I quit my crummy warehouse job to concentrate on school full-time, and even though he's happy to do it, being unemployed makes me feel so useless and moochy. I made about $500 in commissions here n' there when I had the time, but that only really pays for a few trips to the grocery store. Come on, real world, I'm ready for a job!

That said, if I don't find anything after my internship/graduation, I'll re-open for commissions this summer. Stay tuned!

Hopefully I'll also have some spare time this summer to revamp my website. I'm giving it a makeover and haven't been updating in the meantime, despite the steadily-growing pile of artwork to post.

Other than college, nothing much else has been going on! Life is good. Except I'm sick with a horrid cold at the moment, but I'm going in to my internship tomorrow anyway 'cause it looks really bad when you call in sick on your first day. LOL.
